Old Pecos Cabin

We stumbled upon this place while camping in the Pecos mountains. The sunlight filtered through the missing boards of the roof, creating a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow. I rarely depict objects in realistic colors, and I had always disliked the way wood becomes gray as it ages. Therefore, I decided to introduce vibrant lavenders into those areas. This decision resulted in a more lively and colorful piece.
