I created “Hope” in 2008. That year was a challenging time for many, with the stock market crash leading to business closures and widespread job and home losses.

"Hope" was born from these difficult circumstances and aims to capture the deep, often dark feelings we experience during such trying periods. The piece reflects the idea that tears shed are a part of the fabric of our lives. However, amidst these feelings, the work also strives to depict the good things that can emerge in the light of hope.
